Güdel at North America's Automate Show
The Automate Show in Chicago, the leading trade fair for showcasing automation technology and solutions in the North American region, more than satisfied Güdel's high expectations. It was the first time Güdel had exhibited at this show. With four exhibits in total, and three of them agile exhibits, Güdel brought plenty of motion and breathtaking action to its stand.
For the first time, the modular concept referred to internally as TMV (Track Motion Vertical), constructed by the colleagues from North America and realized using standard Güdel components, was put on display. The visitors in attendance were fascinated by how the Güdel axis hauled a Yaskawa robot into the air in no time at all, where it simulated welding applications with rapid motions over the entire working space, far above the heads of the astonished spectators.
The four exhibits in total that Güdel presented at its stand were, namely:
- A new, vertical TMV (Track Motion Vertical) modular concept with a Yaskawa Motoman MA2010 robot and standard Güdel TrackMotion components
- Biaxial ZP-3i gantry with linear motion by two self-contained carriers and a Fanuc controller
- TrackMotion Overhead TMO with an ABB industrial
- TrackMotion Floor Module with a change of roller bearing speed of less than ten minutes
And as if all that was not enough of an attraction, Güdel went one better. Güdel will be giving away a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Tablet to one of its visitors. The winner will be announced shortly.
