1960
Focus on the area of drive technology with the manufacture of rack and pinion components
1970
Development of the DPK-type copper printing press: The increase in roller presser is achieved not only through hardness and weight, but also by expanding their diameter. Copperplates, linocuts, woodcuts, and lithographs are pressed on the DPK.
1980
Introduction of the Güdel modular system: High-precision-linear guideways and drive-technology components enable payloads from 10 kg to several tons to be moved quickly and precisely.
1991
Development of the ZP and FP gantry robots: This solution enables workpieces weighing up to 3 tons to be moved efficiently and with a high degree of precision.
1995
Development of the TrackMotion (TM) drive axis: Due to the carrier unit's high degree of rigidity, the Güdel Trackmotion Floor TMF easily absorbs the dynamic fundamental loads of articulated robots in all directions.
1998
World's first roboLoop: Güdel develops the groundbreaking gantry and transfer system.
2003
Development of the roboBeam and roboFlex: Güdel sets new standards in press automation with its innovative transfer robots.
2006
Launch of the roboFeeder: Güdel strengthens its position in the press automation market with another transfer robot.
2013
Further development of the TrackMotion Floor floor-mounted drive axis and the P-ECON pallet conveyor.
2014
Further development of the TrackMotion Overhead drive axis for overhead assembly, Green Tire Tray, roboSpeed, and the ZP 2-axis gantry in sizes 6 and 7. Product range expanded to include the high-precision planetary gearhead.
2015
Development of PA swivel loader.
2016
Development of the partLifter lifting column and further development of the TrackMotionFloor to include sizes 5 and 6.
